Aeronautics in October 2011

OCT 2011:  Bell Helicopter, a Textron Inc. company has provided new purchase orders to CPI Aerostructures, Inc. totaling $1.4 million, for the manufacture of various assemblies for the AH-1Z ZULU attack helicopter.


OCT 2011:  Sikorsky Aircraft Corp has awarded CPI Aerostructures, Inc. a schedule agreement valued at up to approximately $2.3 million to manufacture gunner window assemblies for the BLACK HAWK helicopter. This new agreement is a follow-on to the $2 million agreement announced in late 2010.


OCT 2011:  The Maryland Aviation Administration has awarded Michael Baker Jr., Inc. a $6.5 million, seven-year contract to perform architectural and engineering services at BWI-Marshall Airport and Martin State Airport. Specifically, Baker will provide airfield runway engineering, terminal and facility architectural improvements, landside project engineering, as well as secondary services related to lighting, stormwater, security, navigational aids, and parking.

OCT 2011:  The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has issued CSC a $41 million contract modification to provide financial management, human resources, procurement and information technology support services to NASA.
