US Army in October 2011

Oct 2011:  The U.S. Army’s Robotic Systems Joint Program Office has granted iRobot Corp. a five-year $60 million indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract.  The U.S. Army Contracting Command in Warren, Michigan is the contracting entity.  Under the contract’s terms, the Army can procure iRobot PackBot® robots, spare parts, repairs, upgrades and support services for U.S. military requirements, including Foreign Military Sales (FMS).
OCT 2011:  The U.S. Army has awarded Harris Corporation a $66.3 million order via the GSA, to provide Falcon III® AN/PRC-117G multiband manpack radios in support of the modernization of Brigade Combat Team tactical communications.
OCT 2011:  The U.S. Army Research Development and Engineering Command has awarded PAR Government Systems Corporation a prime contract to provide Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) technologies and services in support of the Eagle Intel-X effort. The indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract has a five year period of performance with a total contract ceiling value of $42.5 million.
