Healthcare in October 2011

OCT 2011:  The National Cancer Institute’s Center for Cancer Research has awarded Harris Corporation, a communications and information technology company, a $37 million contract. The contract, which includes one base year and four one-year options, continues Harris’ twenty-nine year legacy of providing comprehensive clinical data management for the National Cancer Institute’s intramural clinical trials program.
OCT 2011:  The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has awarded ICF International, provider of consulting services and technology solutions to government and commercial clients, a new contract by to support the Community Transformation Grant (CTG) program. The contract has a value of $70 million and a term of one base year and six option years.
